Rumford/Mexico Horseshoe Club to meet Mondays

RUMFORD — The Rumford/Mexico Horseshoe Club will meet and pitch shoes from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays throughout summer at Hosmer Field Complex between the football field and the tennis courts in front of the hockey rink.

New members are welcome no experience needed all are welcome to enjoy Americas great all time summer sport.

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Ecumenical Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays in the undercroft at the Church of The Good Shepherd (The Episcopal Church) on Main Street in Rangeley.

Bethel Seniors to meet

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the Locke Mills Union Church.

The cost for dinner is $10.

Twin Town Nature Club to explor Otisfield farm

OXFORD — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 1, in the Oxford Wal-Mart parking lot, south side near Route 26.

The group will proceed to the Henry Hamilton farm in Otisfield for a nature walk to see lady slippers.

Visitors are welcome. Participants should bring a picnic lunch.

Knitting Guild to meet in Paris

PARIS — Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at First Congregational Church, East Main Street.

Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

This will be a sit and knit meeting with the group stitching together an afghan.

Members should bring any unfinished items or projects that fellow members can assist with. They should bring a list of the total number of items donated to charitable programs so the record can be updated.

A show and tell program will also take place.

New members are always invited to attend meetings.
