1959 – 2015
SOUTH PARIS — David N. Day, 55, of South Paris, died Friday, May 22, at his home.
David was born in Norway on Sept. 3, 1959, to the late Norman Day and Fay Tripp Day and was a 1977 graduate of Oxford Hills High School. He later went to culinary arts school and worked at numerous restaurants. He also worked in shoe shops until becoming disabled.
David enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a huge fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox. He also loved music and had a huge collection of vinyls.
He was a friend of Bill W’s for 10 years.
Besides his parents, David is predeceased by his sister, Cathy, in 2005.
He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Kathryn Lawrence of South Paris; one sister, Donna Paul and her husband, Rick, of Auburn; a nephew, Jonathan Paul of Lisbon Falls; a niece, Danielle Paul of Portland; and many cousins.
