Recently Mingle Analytics, an expanding member of our chamber of commerce, welcomed a new member of their team, Richard Clark, who has joined the company as chief financial officer effective immediately.
He is principal of Clark Interim and specializes in providing CFO services to growing early stage companies. Richard has extensive experience in healthcare and technology, and according to Dan Mingle, is the newest part of Mingle Analytics agenda to provide the resources they need to succeed to their most aggressive specifications, or as Dan said their “wildest dreams.” Welcome to our community.
Our Membership Committee, ably handled by Co-Chairs Robert McCarthy of Rob’s Garage and Rebecca Dowse, retired executive with SCORE, are in the process of putting together an aggressive campaign intended to maximize the opportunity for any business, profit or nonprofit, to become a member of our chamber of commerce. Ryan LaVerdiere of Bear Foot Realty, Corinna Morse of Crooked River Heating & Air Conditioning and Betsey Sawyer-Mantor, executive director of Seniors Plus have also joined the committee, which is intended to work, constantly, on behalf of chamber members. Coming up you can be looking for chamber-sponsored breakfast meetings to recognize new members and also welcome prospective members.
The Maine Lakes & Tourism Council, consisting of 10 chambers in the Western Maine region, is currently working with the Maine Office of Tourism to help promote businesses interested in becoming more “visible” to our visitors, which are in the millions every year. How easy is it? Really easy. Your business can be listed on the MOT website absolutely free. You do need to fill out an application online but that’s easy as well. Just go the MOT website and it will take you, step by step through the process. What’s that action line, “Just do it.”
Finally, congratulations to the Paris Revitalization Committee for its work in soliciting planted flower pots all along Main Street for the summer months and especially to the donors who include Bessey Motors, Bolster’s Decorating, Community Concepts, Crossway Family Dental, First Baptist Church of Paris, Judy Gideonse, Hanley Associates Law Offices, H & R Block, John Jenness, Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, Oxford Hills Law Office, Paris Cape Realty, Smiling Moose, Stoneheart Farm and W.J. Wheeler. Looking good in the downtown area!
See you next week.
