FARMINGTON — Main Street in Farmington will become “Busker Alley” for June’s First Friday Art Walk & More, Friday, June 5, from 5 to 8 p.m.  Buskers, or street performers who play for tips, are invited to set up on Main Street to showcase their diverse talents.

Businesses and venues participating this First Friday are:

Calico Patch Art display with artist P. V. Collins of Livermore showing her watercolors and pastels. Along with Collins, artist Paula Enman of Farmington will be showing her watercolors.

Enchanted Art Display featuring artists from Mt. Blue High School; Everyday Music Co. open late; H. Brown Fine Art Live Art studio time from 7 to 8 p.m. at the gallery. Artists are invited to bring a sketch book; Minikins, open late / sidewalk sale;  North Church Exhibit from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Church on 118 High St. recognizing the 129th anniversary of the great fire of downtown Farmington.

The Farmington Historical Society will exhibit photos which will showcase the downtown prior to 1886, the ruins after the fire and today which shows the rebuilding that occurred after 1886.

Reny’s, open late, 7 p.m.; SugarWood Gallery hosting Patti Millette as their Artist of the Month for June. An open house reception with refreshments will held from 4 to 7 p.m.; The “Porch Gallery” will feature the art of Lord Clinton Casey and Laurie Barker.

Tracy Medling, open gallery; Upcountry Artists — artists will be on hand for a reception, offering light refreshments and a creative activity for all ages, open 5 to 8 p.m., sale;  W.A. Mitchell Annual spring tent sale on the sidewalk of SugarWood Gallery at 248 Broadway.
