CARRABASSETT VALLEY — On May 30, Erin Buckland from Farmington graduated from Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA). CVA is a private middle/high school at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine, offering a unique balance of college preparatory academics and competitive ski and snowboard training.

At the Richard Bell Chapel, at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain, Buckland, and 20 of her classmates received diplomas at CVA’s 2015 commencement ceremony.

Buckland plans to attend Montana State University in the fall.

“We are very proud of Erin, and all of this year’s graduates.” said Head of School, Kate Webber Punderson, “Erin has been an exemplary student, athlete, and community member during her years here.”
