Lakeside Chapter to honor Flag Day

WALES – The Lakeside Chapter will honor Flag Day and the U.S. Army by gathering at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Grange Masonic Building on 322 Centre Road.

There will be a report from the Wind Beneath Your Wings Grand Chapter Session, and attendees may have the opportunity to meet Sister Eleanor V. Peterson, the new district deputy grand matron for District No. 4.

After the program, refreshments will be served.

Dessert social, auction to aid church member

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church will have a dessert social and silent auction on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m at the church, located at 439 Park Ave.

Lifetree Café to host discussion on fatherhood

LEWISTON — The impact of fathers on children will be examined at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Lifetree Café.

The program, titled “A Father’s Power: How Dads Shape Us-for Better or Worse,” includes a filmed interview with former gang member and current father Mark DeEzparza.

Admission to the hour-long event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located at the South Lewiston Baptist Church on 1919 Lisbon Road.

Lewiston High Class of 1995 to celebrate 20th reunion

LEWISTON — The 20th reunion of the Lewiston High School Class of 1995 will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Fireside Inn in Auburn.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the reunion website.
