SeniorsPlus to hold Caregiver Support Group in Rangeley
RANGELEY — SeniorsPlus will hold a Caregiver Support Group at the Rangeley Town Office. The group will meet the second Thursday of each month, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The next meeting will be held June 11.
This support group is for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s or other forms of Dementia. This is a wonderful chance to connect with others, share experiences, gain information, support and a friendly ear.
Pre-registration is not necessary.
Dixfield Congregational Church to hold lobster roll supper
DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Congregational Church will hold its first summer lobster roll supper at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 11 in the church annex on High Street.
The event will run until sold out. The menu will be 100 percent lobster meat on a toasted hot dog bun with potato salad, cole slaw, dessert and beverage for $8.50. Chicken salad rolls will also be available for substitute for $7. Take out available.

Community cookout June 13
FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its annual free community cookout at noon Saturday, June 13, at 227 Main St.
The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausages, cole slaw and dessert.

Jones Dance Band performs June 13
PARIS — A dance with music by Jones Dance Band will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 20 and 27, at American Legion Hall, 12 Church St.
Cost is $5.
Ham dinner to benefit building fund
NEW SHARON — A ham dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Franklin Masonic Lodge. Ham will be served with mashed potato, peas, carrots, applesauce, rolls and homemade pie.
Take-out will be available. Cost is adults, $8; ages 6-12, $6; under 6, free. Proceeds will benefit the building fund.
Hamlin Library announces summer reading program
PARIS — Hamlin Memorial Library has announced its Summer Reading Program will run from June 15 to Aug. 15.
Every child and teen who reads for at least 500 minutes will be awarded a free book of his or her choice.
The top reader will win a $25 gift card to Books ‘n Things in Norway or Amazon.com. Readings logs are available at the library.
Each participant in the Summer Reading Program will receive a voucher for free admission to a Portland Sea Dogs game.

New Vineyard Public Library to hold golf fundraiser
NORTH ANSON — New Vineyard Public Library will hold a benefit golf tournament at Diadema Golf Course on New Portland Road at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12.
The format is a four-to-five person nine-hole scramble. There will be putting contests with prizes and the driving range will be open.
Cost to enter the tournament is $40 per golfer, advanced registration required.
The rain date will be July 19.
