Bethel voted Tuesday to keep fluoride in its water. The vote was 176-79, according to Town Clerk Christen Mason. Bethel has fluoridated its water since 1970, but health-related concerns raised by Sarah Lane led to an effort to hold a referendum to stop the practice.
