DURHAM — Although two of the three Regional School Unit 5 towns, Durham and Pownal, voted against the proposed 2015-16 budget of $29.4 million by a two-to-one margin, the budget was easily approved when Freeport’s tally came in.
Overall, the budget was approved, 1,176-958.
Pownal voted 117-204, Durham voted 142-376 and Freeport voted 917-378.
