TOPSHAM — Aaron Willingham and Nate Pratt-Holt won individual state titles, Saturday at the Class A championships held at Mt. Ararat High School.

Willingham won the 3200 meter run and placed 3rd in the 1600 meter run, while Pratt-Holt finished first in the triple jump and second in the long jump. Willingham also grabbed a 6th place finish as a member of the 4×800 meter relay team, along with Isaiah Reid, William Frederic and Dan Lesko.

Mt. Blue finished seventh as a team at the meet. Mt. Blue girls did not score at the state meet.

Class C state meet

YARMOUTH — In the Class C state track and field championships, Mt. Abram’s Logan Boyce took fourth place in the javelin throw. Boyce was the only Roadrunner to score points in the meet.

31 schools Mt. Abram boys finished 24th.. Mt Abram girls did not score at the state meet.

At the Mountain Valley Conference meet in Lisbon, Mt. Abram had several strong competitors in both the boys and girls events.
