Spring sports will be ending before we know it. AYS would like to say thank you to all the coaches that stepped up to the plate and took a swing at the whole coaching gig. Without the help of all of you, AYS wouldn’t be able to offer these sports. It’s not an easy job especially with some of the issues that we encounter along the way but you all are doing an amazing job.
We’d also like to thank all the local businesses who sponsored a team. Whether it was to help purchase baseball caps for a baseball team or shirts for a tee ball team, it is greatly appreciated. We are lucky to have your support. Without it, AYS couldn’t keep costs down. Please know that the coaches promote your business whenever possible and that we continue to keep costs lower than many youth programs across the state thanks to all of you.
Fall signups (soccer, field hockey, cheering, flag football & football) will begin on June 17th and end on July 17th. This fee and all regular sign up fees must be paid in full prior to the beginning of the sport.
After the closure of late sign ups, AYS will not accept any further sign ups for any sport that season. If you have any questions, please contact the commissioner and they will be able to assist you. Football commissioner: Dave Frey at [email protected]. Cheering commissioner: Cindy Ortiz at [email protected]. Field hockey commissioner: Mary Learned at [email protected]. Soccer commissioner: Barbara Hiscock at [email protected].
Or you can contact AYS on our new phone at 207-897-2266. We had phone services hooked up to the AYS Building with hopes of helping with communication. We will do our best at answering all calls.
If we aren’t available to answer, then please leave a message with a call back number so we can get back to you. We are hoping to have our current or upcoming sports signup information on our voicemail before you are given the option to leave a message. As always, we welcome any questions or comments you may have about our program.
