DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have a Storburn gas toilet at camp. To burn it, an anti foamer must be used. It is called MK-1 anti-foaming liquid. I used to order it directly from Storburn in Canada but cannot seem to contact them by phone or email. Is there a local company that has such a product? Is there a household liquid that can be used as a substitute? I am running low. If anyone has answers, contact me at regard322@hotmail.com.

Sun Spots also located a store called PropaneProducts.com that sells MK-1 Anti-Foam. No size for the product is shown but it lists for $60, is on sale for $54.95. The description states: “When ready to incinerate, add 1 cap full of anti-foam, close the unit, light the pilot with a built-in ignitor and activate the burner. Burner shuts off automatically when cycle is complete. Good for 30 burn cycles.” The company is located in Wisconsin and can be reached by phone at 1-877-409-1618.

ANSWER: Cole Museum has a Maine Veteran Walking Stick program for “Maine Veterans who served during a time of combat are eligible for a free Maine Maple Walking Stick, a token of the Cole Museum’s appreciation for their service. The veteran must come to the museum to get a walking stick.
