The Tinpanic Steel Band will be performing a free public concert on at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 23 to kick off the Oxford Summer Concert Series at the Anderson/Staples American Legion Post 112, 169 King St. in Oxford.  Tinpanic is an 11-piece steel drum orchestra which entertains audiences with a high-energy Big Band sound and featuring a repertoire of popular hits and calypso favorites.  Bring lawn chairs.  In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Oxford ice arena.
