FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue boys basketball coach Kevin Main has set a fast pace summer for the Cougars with play in the G&E Roofing Summer League at Cony High School and a pair of week long clinics for younger players.
Mt. Blue has entered both a varsity and junior varsity team into the Augusta league which begins play next week. There are 16 teams in the Varsity League and 14 teams in the Sub-Varsity League.
Basketball fundamentals will be the key factor at Summer Skills Cougar Camp, July 13-16 and July 20-23. Both weeks run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. An emphasis will be placed on the basics of shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and individual and team offense and defense.
