I noticed that of the 64 line items that Gov. Paul LePage did not veto was the tax cut for the rich.
Why should we pay their share of the tax bill? They are more capable of paying it than the middle class, so why is the governor so hell bent on giving them a break by reducing their tax burden? It only ends up being paid for by the rest of the taxpayers.
And the rich , who are more capable of paying taxes than anyone else, get to save even more of their money, which just makes them even more rich.
They could really use the help, don’t you think?
