Macie Joe Morin, 5 days old, was guided to Heaven in the arms of an angel, early Friday morning, June 26th at Maine Medical Center in Portland, following complications due to a premature birth.

She was born Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Lewiston, the daughter of Bradley J. Morin and Katherine Richard of Jay. Although her time here was brief the memory of her precious soul will remain in the hearts of her parents and family forever.

A quote from one of Macie’s doctors: “That she was loved for every day, every minute, every second of her life. That she tried so, so hard to get better. This is how I know that her mom and dad are going to be ok. Macie could have only gotten her determination and grit from them.

“Macie was not able to get better because she was too delicate, but she fought and tried. Her parents will have to try hard, too, but they can be inspired by Macie’s example. Macie showed us all that you never know how strong you are until you have no other choice. I know her parents will be strong, too.”
