Excellent progress was made last weekend on the recycling shed being constructed by volunteer labor at the Livermore landfill. Selectman Gary Young estimates that the building can be completed this week as workers are invited to lend a hand both Saturday and Sunday starting at 8 a.m. Ken Keene and Lawrence McNear are heading the work crews. The 24 x 36 foot structure is designed so that trailers may be placed at the rear to store recyclables. It will contain a 10 x 10 foot office for attendant Bert Bryant. To date, the town has invested only about $7,248 in the building, including materials, site preparation and concrete work.
