1952 – 2015

FAYETTE — Therese L. Hallett, 63, died Sunday, June 28, at her home, following a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born in Augusta on May 26, 1952, a daughter of the late Albert and Madeline (St. Hilaire) Bernier. Therese was a graduate of Cony High School and Central Beauty School.

She was a hairdresser for most of her life and had worked at the State House cafeteria for several years.

Therese is survived by her husband of 43 years, John P. Hallett of Fayette; a sister, Suzanne Turcotte of Augusta; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
