Williston Northampton School announces honor roll

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. — The Williston Northampton School has announced its third trimester honor roll. Margaret Cummings of North Monmouth, who is a member of the Class of 2015, achieved honors.

Students earning honors are required to earn a GPA of 87.

Auburn Resident named to spring 2015 president’s list at the Pratt Institute

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Nika Faulkner, Auburn resident and a student at the Pratt Institute, was among the 900 students who made the president’s list in the spring 2015 semester.

Local student receives diploma from Norwich University

NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Sarah M. Patrie of Lewiston received an M. Arch. in Architecture from Norwich University at the May 9 commencement ceremony held in NU’s Shapiro Field House.

Saint Michael’s College announced dean’s list

COLCHESTER, Vt. — The following local students were named to the dean’s list at Saint Michael’s College for the spring semester.

Alex S. Brushwein, a sophomore physics and economics major who is the son of Cheryl and Gary Brushwein of Auburn and a graduate of Edward Little High School.

Taylor A. Teixeira, a sophomore accounting major who is the daughter of Kim and Raymond Teixeira of Lewiston and a graduate of Hebron Academy.

Olivia C. Gregory, a May graduated who majored in mathematics and Secondary Education who is the daughter of George and Janet Gregory of New Gloucester and a graduate of The Gunnery.

Auburn resident to participate in summer undergraduate research fellowship

WEST HAVEN, Conn. — Robert Rousseau of Auburn, majoring in biology, will be participating in the University of New Haven Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. Robert will be completing a project with Donna Rhoads. This project involves identifying the proteins involved with the production and secretion of exotoxins and degradation enzymes.

Local resident named to dean’s list at Florida Institute of Technology

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Alex Denis, an aerospace engineering major and resident of Topsham, was among the students from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2015 semester.

To be included on the dean’s list, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester GPA of at least 3.4.

Local resident named to Clemson University president’s list

CLEMSON, S.C. — Nicole Barbour Cary of Mechanic Falls has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2015 semester.

Cary’s major is landscape architecture.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 GPA.

Merrimack College announces dean’s list

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Merrimack College has announced its dean’s list for its spring semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a 3.25 GPA out of a 4.0 grading system. The following local students have earned dean’s list status:

Christian Verreault of Gray, Kayla McLellan of Topsham, Kelley McLellan of Topsham, Amanda Anair of Monmouth and Zakary Johnson of Poland.

Local resident named to Clemson University dean’s list

CLEMSON, S.C. — Eric Michael Hall of Lewiston has been named to the dean’s list at Clemson University for the spring 2015 semester.

Hall’s major is chemistry.

To be named to the dean’s list, the student must achieve a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Local resident named to dean’s list at Plymouth State University

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Alexis Servidio of Lewiston has been named to the Plymouth State University Dean’s List for the spring semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a gpa between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Servidio is an Elementary Education major.
