WELD — A Carthage teenager was injured Sunday when she lost control of a vehicle on Route 142 and it struck a utility pole, rolled onto its roof and a tree fell on it, Franklin County Cpl. Nate Bean said.
Ashley Hutchinson, 16, became distracted trying to change the radio station, Bean said in a report to Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. She was treated at the scene by medics from NorthStar EMS for cuts and bruises, Bean wrote.
The 2005 Lincoln LS sedan was registered to her father of Carthage.
