Masonic Hall to host dinner

LISBON FALLS — There will be a roast turkey dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m Friday, July 10, at the Masonic Hall on Oak Street.

The cost of the meal is $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger and free for pre-school-aged children.

Lobster, crab roll luncheon July 11

LISBON — A lobster and crab meat roll luncheon will be held Saturday, July 11, at Lisbon United Methodist Church, 19 School St.

Burgers and hot dogs will also be for sale.

A trash and treasure sale and bake sale will take place.

“Moxie Land,” affordable games for ages 2 to 9, will be offered on the church lawn with prizes for everyone.

The church will offer offer Harmon’s clam cakes and crab cakes down the street.

MECHANIC FALLS — The American Legion Auxiliary will hold a yard sale, bake sale and car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the post home, 41 Elm St.

L-A Rotary to host speaker

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will host Barbara Whidden, development director of the Maine State Music Theater in Brunswick, as its guest speaker at noon on Thursday, July 23.

Whidden, a native Mainer from Old Orchard Beach, has been with Maine State Music Theatre for 10 years, seven of those years in her current position. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Bath and serves on its board.

Chamber of Commerce to host blood drive
