Emily Cormier receives leadership award
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Emily Cormier of Mechanic Falls, majoring in Health Sciences-Pre Physical Therapy, received the John Homer Miller Leadership Award given to a first-year or sophomore student who has demonstrated leadership early in his or her college career.
Lewiston resident named to Wentworth dean’s list
BOSTON — Scott Ouellette, the son of Bruce and Karen Ouellette of Lewiston, has made the dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology for the spring 2015 semester. Scott is a senior majoring in computer science.
Student named to Clarkson University dean’s list
POTSDAM, N.Y. — Samantha L. Rideout of Durham, a sophomore majoring in global supply chain management, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Clarkson University.
Dean’s list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 GPA and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
Student named to dean’s list at Dickinson College
CARLISLE, Pa. — Madigan Behrens Kay, a rising sophomore at Dickinson College, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. A graduate of Brunswick High School, she is the daughter of Ronald and Barbara Kay of Brunswick.
All students earning a position on the dean’s list, a recognition of academic excellence, must have a GPA of 3.7 or above on a 4.0 GPA scale for the semester.
Binghamton University announces dean’s list
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Binghamton University has announced the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. This honor recognizes students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The following local student was named:

CARLISLE, Pa. — Nicholas Holland Toole, a rising senior political science major at Dickinson College, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. A graduate of Brunswick High School, he is the son of Christopher Toole and Sandra Holland of Brunswick.

Lawrence University announces graduates
APPLETON, Wis. — Lawrence University awarded bachelor of arts or bachelor of music degrees Sunday, June 14 to 310 students during its 166th commencement ceremony. The following student received a degree during the commencement ceremonies.
Colin Huggins of South Portland, B.A. in mathematics. He is a 2010 graduate of South Portland High School and the son of Sarah Huggins, South Portland, and Edward Huggins, Auburn.
