NORWAY — Voters at a special town meeting Thursday evening approved appropriating $5,000 to cover overdrafts.
Town Clerk Shirley Boyce said only a few residents attended, approving moving the funds from the unrestricted fund balance to cover an anticipated overdraft in the utilities account. They also appropriated $206 from the unrestricted fund balance to cover an overdraft in the emergency management account.
The votes close out the 2014-15 financial books.
