Houlihan
AUBURN — Daniel Houlihan and Mary (Hutchinson) Houlihan of Auburn, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family on June 20.
Mr. Houlihan grew up Livermore Falls, and Mrs. Houlihan grew up in Buckfield. The couple was married April 29, 1955 in Buckfield.
Their children are Kathy McConnell and her husband, Patrick of Nashua, N.H., William Houlihan and his wife, Elva of Buxton, Margaret Labbe and her husband, Randy of Hartford. The couple has eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Houlihan spent his career in the paper industry, working for International Paper, Madison Paper Mill, and as a consultant.
Mrs. Houlihan worked as a hairdresser before becoming a full-time homemaker.
The Houlihans have enjoyed travel, particularly to Ireland and Disney World with children and grandchildren. Since retirement, Mr. Houlihan has enjoyed following the New England Patriots, and Mrs. Houlihan has enjoyed quilting.
