LEEDS — The Leeds Fire Department’s Annual Barn Sale and Silent Auction is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, at the Sander-Lou Farm on the North Road.

Items at the sale will include furniture, dishes, dormitory refrigerators, tools, electronics, books, sporting equipment — for sports such as skating, skiing and horseback riding — crafting materials, and bikes and toys for children.

The auction will be a combination of open bids and raffle items. Raffle tickets for items on the auction tables will cost $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets. The bidding part of the auction will feature a patio bar and chairs set, antique Carnival glass pitcher and glasses, reclaimed three-quarter bed hall bench and a California king quilt. There will also be gift certificates from local businesses.

Refreshments will be available at the bake table, including canned and baked goods.

The auction will close at 3 p.m. Sunday, and winners will be notified immediately. Winners need not be present to win.

Proceeds from the sale and auction will be put toward replacing the tank on the Leeds Volunteer Fire Department’s tanker.

Images of the auction items and updates to the items for sale may be seen on the town’s Facebook page.
