TURNER — MSAD 52 Adult and Community Education has announced activities it’ll offer for children this summer.

Leavitt Youth Soccer Camp: Runs Monday to Friday, July 27 to 31, for boys and girls ages 5 to 12. Campers will “get to know” soccer in a fun and encouraging way with the LAHS girls soccer team. Students should bring a water bottle and wear shin guards.

Hornet Pride Football Camp: Runs Monday to Friday, July 27 to 31, for players entering grades second through sixth. The focus will be on developing skills and having fun while learning the game from Leavitt Area High School/Tripp Football coaching staff and players. Cleats and molded mouthpieces are needed.

Hornet Pride Girls Basketball Camp: This camp for girls entering grades first through eighth runs Monday to Thursday, July 27 to 30. The focus will be on developing fundamental skills and having fun while learning the game from the Leavitt Area High School Basketball coaching staff and players.

Meet Your Animal Spirit Guide: A guided meditation will happen Tuesday, July 28, taking participants on an adventure to meet their animal spirit guides, exploring connection to nature, spirit and all that is. Dress code is comfortable, and kids should bring beach chairs or blankets and pillows.

Drilled Sea Glass Necklace: Discover the secrets to drilling glass, stones and shells in a one-night class Wednesday, July 29. Participants can add colorful beads and spirals using easy wire-wrapped loop techniques to create unique jewelry. Sea glass, beach stones and shells will be provided or jewelers can bring their own. Workshop fee includes all materials to make one pendant.
