AUBURN — Mayor Jonathan P. LaBonté has declared the month of July as Park and Recreation Month in Auburn.

Since 1985, Park and Recreation Month has been nationally celebrated to promote the importance of parks and recreation in health and wellness, conservation and social equity. This special month also recognizes the thousands of park and recreation employees that maintain the nation’s local and community parks.

This July, the City of Auburn’s Recreation Department offers many recreational activities for all ages.
