PARIS — The Paris Public Library is preparing for its annual used book sale, which will run four days in July and August. Thousands of books have been donated and collected for this year’s sale and are organized into a variety of subjects.

The sale dates will be:

Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, July 29, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 1, from 8 a.m to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., which will be a bag sale.

The sale is located in the former Paris Farmers’ Union store at the corner of Main Street and Skilling Avenue in South Paris. 

Hardcover books will cost will cost $1 each, trade paperbacks 50 cents each and mass market paperbacks $25 cents each. Proceeds from the sale will purchase children’s books for the library’s collection. Last year’s sale raised more than $3,000.

The first day of the sale will also feature a bake sale raising funds to purchase Lego sets for the library’s Lego Club.
