WINSLOW — The Franklin County Babe Ruth All-Stars were eliminated in two straight games from the Area 3 Babe Ruth tournament at Nivison Field, last week.
Franklin County 14teens lost to Central Maine 19-5 in their opening game before falling from the tournament in a 15-5 decision against Augusta. Apple Valley claimed the 14teen Area 3 championship with a 5-4 win over Augusta.
Meanwhile the 15teens dropped their opener to Augusta 8-4 before being eliminated by Tri-County 6-2. Augusta won the 15team Area 3 title beating Apple Valley 8-7 in the final.
