GRAY — The educators from Wildlife Encounters will visit the Maine Wildlife Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18, along with exotic wildlife.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and photograph live, non-native wildlife including an African serval cat, a 50-pound African crested porcupine, an arctic fox, an endangered eastern indigo snake, an alligator snapping turtle and a giant bullfrog.

Visitors can ask questions of on-site educators and learn how these species are linked to Maine’s resident wildlife.

The Maine Wildlife Park has over 30 species of native wildlife on display with wildlife gardens, nature trails and a fish hatchery.

The park is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visitors may stay on the premises until 6 p.m.

The cost of admission is $5.50 for ages 4 to 12, $7.50 for adults and $5.50 for senior citizens. Groups of 15 or more are $3.50 per person.
