RANGELEY — Lakeside Dance Academy has announced its first Dance Camp from noon to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 3, 4 and 5 at the Dance Studio on the lower level of the Rangeley Fitness Center. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10 to 16.
Students will enjoy concentrations in breakdancing, modern dance, contact improvisation, hip-hop and more. There will be four concentrations each day.
Students may dance in ballet, jazz, hip-hop shoes or bare feet. Attendees should bring a water bottle and sweatshirt or warm-up clothes. Students should wear comfortable stretch clothes for any type of dance as the styles of dance will change every 45 minutes.
The cost for the three days of camp is $75. There is a 20 student limit and registration is required. The instructors are Pam Ellis, Raina Eustis and Lily Gacki as well as guest instructors.
