POLAND SPRING — Maine singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lynn Deeves and guitarist, singer Robbby Coffin will perform at the All Souls Chapel at Poland Spring, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 20.

Tickets are $7.50 and may be purchased at the door, which opens at 6:30 p.m.

Deeves honed her stage skills on the high-energy rock circuit of New England in the 1980s and ’90s. She has since released four self-produced, original CDs, showcasing a versatile mix of blues, folk and gospel influences combined with a powerfully, soulful voice. Her sharp wit and dynamic stage presence continue to captivate, as Portland Press Herald says “five star stage presence … this gal’s got a set of pipes …” Deeves has opened for Cheryl Wheeler, Ellis Paul, Janice Ian, America, Catie Curtis and many others.

Electric and acoustic guitarist, Robby Coffin, has long-been a favorite on the Maine music scene. Coffin has performed with Tom Paxton, Devonsquare, Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul and Mary), Don Campbell and the Nutopians. Coffin’s tasteful textures augment whomever he’s playing with and his rich vocals blend beautifully with Deeves’s.

Recently, Deeves was selected to contribute a track to “The Pink Album-26 of The Greatest Women Recording Artists in Maine” a benefit compilation for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition.
