1986 – 2015

LEWISTON — Brandon A. Kenney, 29, of Sabattus, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 21, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Ojai, Calif., on Feb. 11, 1986, the son of Bruce A. Kenney and Jeanine E. (Avila) Kenney.

Following his schooling, Brandon proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 2005 to 2009, in which he served 15 months during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following his service to his country, Brandon worked for Formed Fiber in Auburn for 5 years, where he was still recently employed.

A quick-witted person with a unique sense of humor, Brandon enjoyed bikes, cars, trucks, ATVs or anything else that had wheels or not. Brandon was always there for his mother and his sister, and loved his dog, Bubba. He was known for his love of the artwork of tattoos.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanine Kenney of Sabattus; his father, Bruce Kenney of Ontario, Canada; his girlfriend, Amber Beaupre and their unborn child of Sabattus; his sister, Crystal Gowell of Litchfield; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Georgianna Avila of Modesto, Calif.; his paternal grandmother, Judy Kenney of Santa Paula, Calif.; his nephew and niece, Domonic and Naomi Gowell; and several aunts and uncles.
