LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will host Devan Knight of the Maine Red Claws as its guest speaker from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Ramada Inn.

Knight, a native of Lisbon Falls, returned to Maine from New York to pursue a career in professional sports.

Knight first joined the Red Claws for the 2012-13 season, serving as a game operations intern. He then served as an intern in the group sales department for the Portland Sea Dogs.

He returned to the Red Claws prior to the 2013-14 season to serve as an inside sales representative before being named an account executive, where he is responsible for group and season ticket sales and sponsorship.

He lives in Lisbon Falls and recently finished his bachelor’s degree in sport management at the University of Southern Maine.
