LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Chesley “Chet” Fourner were held Thursday morning, July 30, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, with Lewiston Fire Department Chaplain John Robbins presiding. The Lewiston Fire Department honor guard was in attendance, along with fellow firefighters.

At the conclusion of the service, Chet’s longtime friend, Buzzy Metayer shared his memories about the good times he had with Chet.

Committal prayers followed by United States Army military honors will be held Monday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
