LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) — The trial of a New Hampshire man accused of breaking into a Maine home and shooting his wife and the homeowner is scheduled to start this week.

WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1ITw95F ) that Gregory Owens of Londonderry is scheduled for trial on Monday. The 58-year-old man is facing 14 charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Authorities allege the Army veteran broke into the Saco home on Dec. 18 and shot his wife, Rachel Owens, and the homeowner.

Owens has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison.
