The Community Credit Union’s 3rd Annual Battle of the Boats Bass Fishing Tourney and 22nd Annual Androscoggin Bassmasters G.I.P. Bass Open will be held on Sunday, Aug. 16 at the Turner Boat Launch (Androscoggin Rivere), Center Bridge Road in Tuner.
Th bass tournament is to benefit the Maine Credit Union’s Campaign to End Hunger and the Children’s Miracle Network. There will be over $2,000 in cash prizes to be awarded in the tournament. Tournament hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is $135 per team, which includes the Lunker Pool and Children’s Miracle Network donation. There will be a light breakfast at registration from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. There will also be barbeque during the awards ceremony. All proceeds will benefit the Ending Hunger Campaign.
