1933 – 2015
FARMINGTON — Eleonore “Ellie” M. Williams, 82, a resident of Livermore, passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, at Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born July 24, 1933, in Offenbach, Germany, the daughter of Konrad Loesel and Maria (Wittman) Loesel. She attended school in Germany.
Ellie was a nanny in Syracuse, N.Y., and went back to Germany, where she met Jerry. They married on Aug. 2, 1962, in Germany. They moved back to the United States and to Livermore Falls in 1963.
Ellie was the vice president of the International Order of King’s Daughters and Sons, state branch president of Maine, and for several years, she was a member of the Mizpah Circle in Livermore Falls.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Williams; three sons; Michael Williams of Livermore, Frank Williams and his wife, Lisa, of Dover, Pa., and Peter Williams and his wife, Hollie, of Clarkston, Wash.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Rudi Loesel and his wife, Monika, and sister, Ruth Abend, both of Germany; sister-in-law, Hilde Loesel of Germany; and niece, Michaela.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Erika Loesel; and brother, Wolfgang Loesel.
