OXFORD — The yellow rubber ducks will be swimming down the river at the King Street bridge by the Oxford Recreation Center, 223 King St., at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

Before watching the ducks go in the water, those wishing will be able to attend a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 to 9:30. Donations will be accepted for the breakfast. There will be special visitors and something from the Recreation Committee for the kids.

Stop by the following Oxford locations to reserve a duck: Record Building Supply, Route 26; Polly’s Variety, King Street; the new Parkside Variety, Skeetfield Road; Oxford Town Office, Pleasant Street; SACC kids center beside the town office; and the Oxford Recreation Center, corner of King and Pleasant streets. Tickets are $5.

Center hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets will still be available at the breakfast until 9:30.

The cash prizes are $200, first; $150, second; $100, third; and $100, last one crossing the finish line just beyond the covered bridge.
