Season outlook:“One game at a time” is the mantra adopted this season as the Blue Devils “reinvent” themselves on the field, according to Richardson. Seniors lead the way this year in spirit and numbers, and Richardson credits this strong class with helping recruit more players to the program. Richardson has coached at many levels of the sports and officiated, and he said this preseason that “never has (he) been as excited by a team’s athleticism, commitment to improvement, growing team spirit, and pride as (he is) at the start of this season with Lewiston.” The Blue Devils earned their region’s Class A Sportsmanship Award last year and are determined to repeat that accolade and to add more wins to their record this year.
