Promising newcomers: Sophomores — Desiree Menard (F), Sydney Gosselin (M), Lexi Morey (F), Ashley Cloutier (G); Freshmen — Sarah Parent (F), Brianna Doucette (M), Hwida Nawass (D).
Season outlook: Poland has been steadily building its program back up for the past few years under Hediger, and came within penalty corners of a playoff victory last season. Most of that team — including three players who are now going to play in college — is gone. King will be looked upon to be a strong leader as the Knights break in some young but talented varsity players, many of whom play on a regular basis outside of the school team setting. The WMC can be unforgiving, but the culture the team has built is solid and playoffs again are not out of the question.
