LIVERMORE FALLS — A Farmington man was accused of drunken driving late Wednesday on an ATV and damaging a wall at the police station with his head, Sgt. Vernon Stevens said Thursday.
Officer Devon Bohacik arrested Todd Toothaker, 33, on misdemeanor charges of operating under the influence and criminal mischief, the sergeant said.
Toothaker, who was with two other people, stopped at Cumberland Farms on Main Street and then got on the trail that runs across the former Otis Mill property. Bohacik intercepted Toothaker on the trail near Mill Street and Franchetti’s Home Town Variety in Jay, Stevens said. Jay police assisted Bohacik.
After his arrest, Toothaker drove his head into a police station wall and was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston and then to Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn, Stevens said.
His bail was set at $200 cash. He was still in custody Thursday morning, Stevens said.
