HARRISON — Owner/operator Kristie Sargent announced that her business, Getaway Travel and Tours LLC, a full-service travel agency, is now open and accepting bookings.

Sargent has 20 years of experience arranging flight itineraries, cruises, Disney packages, escorted tours, all-inclusive Caribbean packages, destination weddings and group bookings for tours and all types of travel. Getaway Travel and Tours can also make restaurant reservations, arrange limousine service and help with travel expense reports.

She worked at Quest Travel in Auburn for 10 years and as an independent consultant for another 10 years. She is an Avalon Waterways specialist, a certified Sandals specialist and a graduate of College of Disney Knowledge.

The home-based business is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; evenings and Saturdays by appointment.
