LEWISTON — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will be hosting two free workshops titled “The Essentials of College Planning” for adults ages 19 and older.

The workshops will be held at 10 a.m. and last approximately two to three hours with the first one on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and the second on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.

The workshops outline the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning and study skills. Preregistration is required.
