JAY — Volunteers are being sought to clean and mark trails behind Spruce Mountain High School from 5 p.m. to dusk on Monday, Sept. 14.
The rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Volunteers will meet at the concession stand by the soccer field. Work includes:
* Clearing trails of weeds and brush for school cross country teams.
* Weed-whacking the Christmas tree plot in the field at the top of the hill.
* Clearing trails and filling low spots.
* Marking trails as needed.
Weed-whackers, rakes and bush cutters are needed.
Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, work boots or closed-toe shoes and gloves and to use insect repellent.
Volunteers are asked to notify Rob Taylor at rtaylor@rsu73.org they plan to attend.
