1988 – 2015
ANTIOCH, Tenn. — Casey Ryan Campana, 27, of Antioch, Tenn., passed away Monday, Sept. 7.
He was born Jan. 20, 1988, in Jacksonville, Fla., and was an avid outdoors man. Casey graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn in 2006. Following graduation, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps and in 2013 was valedictorian of his graduating class at Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tenn.
He was a fly fishing guide by trade and loved mountain climbing and fishing. Casey successfully climbed to the top of Mt. Rainier in Washington State twice, where he proudly displayed the Marine Corps and United States flags.
Casey is survived by his mother, Vonda Higgins of St. Petersburg, Fla.; father, Dennis Campana and stepmother, Kelley Campana of Lisbon; stepsister, Whitney Ratliff and husband, Jeffery, of Ruskin, Fla,; grandmother, Charlene Higgins of Casco; beloved dog, Maggie; and many loving aunts, uncles and friends.
Casey is predeceased by his grandfather, Arnold Higgins of Casco, Arthur Campana and grandmother, Caroline Campana, both of Binghamton, N.Y.
