WEST PARIS — Agnes Gray School will hold its annual Pumpkin Run at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

The Pumpkin Run is an all-ages 1-mile Fun Run and Walk and 5K Road Race Run and fitness walk. The 5K race and walk starts immediately following the Fun Run.

Participants can register online at www.back40timing.com, in person at Agnes Gray School, 170 Main St., or by mailing a registration form to the school. Checks can be made payable to Agnes Gray PTO. On-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Agnes Gray school the day of the race.

Those who preregister by Oct. 1 will receive a discount.

The cost for the 5K Race is $12, or $15 after Oct. 1; the 1-mile Fun Run and Fitness Walk costs $5, or $10 after Oct. 1. A T-shirt for the race costs $10 before Oct. 1, but $12 during race day.

There will be a chili cook-off and pumpkin pie contest following the race. One winner will be selected for the chili and pie contest. Chili should be brought to the contest warm and in a crock pot. Participants of the race eat free. Runners and walkers wear their race bibs as their ticket for a meal. Nonparticipants are asked to donate $5 for food. Proceeds from the event benefit the Agnes Gray School PTO.
