CHESTERVILLE — The North Chesterville Extension Homemakers will meet at the Town Office at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, to plan its activities for the upcoming year. The rotary tree ornament work session in October and the town’s Halloween party will be discussed. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Past events include collecting tissue boxes for elementary schools and making hats and mittens for local students, as well as hosting the Chesterville Halloween Town Party and the town’s Christmas party.

This year the group hosted the Franklin County Extension Homemakers spring meeting. The theme was “Hurrah for the Red, White and Blue.” Many work sessions resulted in decorations, table centerpieces, music, a slideshow presentation and food.
