POWNAL — The wedding of Christine M. Crockett and Gabriel S. Grindle was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 19, in Pownal. Mary Jo Reed, cousin of the bridegroom, officiated at the ceremony. 

The bride is the daughter of H. Joie Crockett of Pownal and Lewis C. Crockett of Kingman, Ariz. She is a 2002 graduate of Lewiston High School and studied graphic arts at the University of Maine at Augusta. 

The bridegroom is the son of Timothy Grindle of Durham and the late Kathryn (Goff) Grindle. He is a 2000 graduate of Greely High School and Portland Arts and Technology High School, where he studied horticulture. He received his certification as a licensed massage therapist from the Polarity Realization Institute and Headhunter Institute in 2001. 

The couple resides in Pownal.
