NORWAY — Stephens Community Healthcare Foundation has announced it has awarded a grant of $9,565 to The Progress Center, a nonprofit that serves families and individuals with disabilities.

The grant will help advance The Progress Center’s pilot program to deliver meals to those in need. The grant will help the nonprofit purchase food, equipment to store and carry meals and beverages to homes, and a heated holding cabinet. This program will support the economically disadvantaged population in the community by improving access to food and other healthy eating initiatives.

Eligibility requirements for grants from the Stephens Community Health Care Foundation are tied to sustainable healthcare initiatives.

The Stephens Community Healthcare Foundation is accepting grant applications through Dec. 31.
